The whole family will love Lift Up Atlanta’s 2017 Summer Fun Festival, happening this Saturday at the Gwinnett County Fairgrounds. Enjoy games, a petting zoo, arts and crafts, a magic show, delicious fair food, and more. This fantastic event benefits Lift Up Atlanta, an organization dedicated to assisting homeless and low-income families. Admission to the festival is free with a donation of school supplies. Don’t miss the Bluesberry and Beer Festival this weekend at Betty Mauldin Park in Norcross. Check out the region’s best line-up of blues artists and enjoy the craft Bluesberry beverages and desserts from local restaurants. this fun event will begin at 3 pm and extend into the evening. Nothing says “summer” like an outdoor movie! Head to the Mall of Georgia on Saturday evening for Movie on the Stars, featuring the film Deepwater Horizon. The movie begins at dusk – arrive early to secure your spot and unwind to live music as the stars come out. There will also be bounce houses and food and drink available for purchase. If your dad or husband loves to work out, get an early start on Saturday morning at the Run for Georgia’s Homeless at Tribble Mill Park in Lawrenceville.
