This weekend, there are tons of fun events going on in Atlanta. Check out one of these family-friendly events happening near you!
Head down to the city for the 16th Annual Fall Fest in Candler Park! Enjoy live music, over 200 vendors and artists, and a variety of food trucks! Come out early on Saturday morning (7:30 am) to register for the 5K and Fun Run. Kids will love Kidlandia, which includes carnival rides, live performances, and more! The Fall Fest will take place this Saturday from noon to 10 pm and on Sunday from noon to 9 pm. Click here for more information.
On Sunday, don’t miss the terrific Pine LakeFest! This unique festival takes place on the shores of Pine Lake in Atlanta. Explore arts and exhibits from 45 of the region’s best artists and vendors. There are tons of activities for kids, including chalk art, sandcastle building, face painting, hula hooping, and more! The whole family will love the pet show and “Floatzilla,” Atlanta’s only water parade! The festival will take place on Saturday from 10 am to 7 pm and Sunday from noon to 6 pm. This weekend, take your little ones to Tiovivo: Whimsical Sculptures at the High Museum in Atlanta. This one-of-a-kind exhibit features four wooden sculptures that kids can climb up and slide down! The sculptures are located at the Carroll Slater Sifly Piazza just outside the museum. Admission to this exhibit is free. The High Museum is open from 10 am to 5 pm on Saturday and noon to 5 pm on Sunday. Click here for more information.
