Georgia Mountain Festival
The Georgia Mountain Festival, one of the largest fall events in the Southeast, will be held from October 7 through 15 in Hiawassee. This fantastic nine-day event, set against the backdrop of the breathtaking north Georgia mountains, includes arts and crafts, rides for all ages, educational demonstrations, and delicious fall treats! Don’t miss the popular Georgia’s Official State Fiddlers’ Convention, also taking place at the festival. The mountains will be in peak fall color, so this is an event you will not want to miss! 46th Annual Oktoberfest
Join hundreds of people from around the Southeast for the 46th Annual Oktoberfest in quaint Helen! This one-of-a-kind event features authentic German fare, craft beer, fantastic shopping, and rousing entertainment. Georgia National Fair
Perry in Middle Georgia is home to the largest fall event in the state, the Georgia National Fair. This official, state-sponsored fair runs from October 6 to 16 at the Georgia National Fairgrounds. Enjoy livestock competitions, horse shows, and a huge selection of rides! This year’s concert line-up features performances by The Band Perry and Lynyrd Skynyrd (additional tickets required).
