There is finally a chill in the air and it feels like fall in North Georgia! It’s time to get out and enjoy the beautiful change of seasons with a fun fall event close to home. Our new home community in Hoschton, Braselton Farms, has an ideal country setting close to great events in both Barrow and Jackson Counties. If you’re not familiar with the area, it’s a great time to visit, stay for a local event, and take a walk through the two available RHG homes now under construction in Braselton Farms.
Local Events
Braselton Antique and Artisan Festival – This fun event starts today, Friday, October 25th and runs through Sunday, October 27th. It’s a unique shopping experience that brings together over 300 vendors of creative art and antiques. It’s a picker’s heaven! With food trucks and local restaurants serving up special dishes, there is something here for everyone. Park off-site and look for the free shuttle bus to take you to Braselton’s charming downtown area.
Fall Festivals – Churches across the area will be holding fall festivals this weekend. Some are complete with carnival rides, and all of them will have candy for your little princesses and pirates! Check out the Galilee Fall Fest, the Jefferson Church Carnival, and the Crossview Fall Harvest Festival. Each event happens this weekend, Oct. 26th and 27th.
Jefferson Holiday Market – This annual craft show features handmade jewelry, art, candles, clothing and so much more. It’s your one-stop holiday shop, happening Friday, November 1st through Sunday, November 3rd. There will be music, food vendors, and fun craft sessions for the littles. Admission is just $5. The Holiday Market is held annually at the Jefferson Civic Center in downtown Jefferson.
Wine Maker Wannabe – Tonight (October 25th) from 7 to 9 p.m., come to Chateau Elan in Braselton to create your own wine built for your personal palate, complete with a custom label designed by you.
