Richardson Housing Group (RHG Homes) is celebrating the first day of fall! Here is a list of fun, family-friendly events to enjoy this weekend and all season long!

Buford Corn Maze

Experience farm fun close to home at the Buford Corn Maze! Get “lost” in the five-acre corn maze and work with family and friends to find your way out. There are tons of other fall activities, including a popcorn jumping pillow, handicapped-accessible hayride, combine slide, corn box, haunted forest, pony rides, and a pumpkin patch! Delicious fall treats are available for an extra fee. For more information, including pricing and directions, visit the Buford Corn Maze website.

47th Annual Oktoberfest

Beautiful Helen, Georgia is a Bavarian-themed mountain hamlet located just an hour from north metro Atlanta. Visit this quaint town during its most popular event, Oktoberfest! At the Helen Festhalle, a variety of artists will perform authentic German music and dances. Beer and brats will be available on-site and at several restaurants located around town. Take some time to browse the variety of gifts, clothing, and other items for sale at boutiques across Helen. For more information, visit the Oktoberfest website.

Fall Folklife Festival

Don’t miss the Fall Folklife Festival at the Atlanta History Center this Saturday! Explore Smith Family Farm, located on-site, for live demonstrations in basket weaving, woodworking, cooking, candle dipping, pottery, and more. Enjoy live tunes from authentic folk musicians and check out the art of regionally-acclaimed folk artists. For more information, visit the Atlanta History Center’s website.

Jaemor Farms

Visit Jaemor Farms, nestled in the foothills of the north Georgia mountains, for abundance of fall bounty and farm fun! Shop the fresh produce market for delicious, locally-grown peaches and homemade jams, jellies, breads, pickles, and more. The family will love exploring the corn maze designed in the shape of a train. Kids will love the numerous farm activities, including hayrides, pumpkin train, petting zoo, slides, duck races, and an apple cannon! For more information, including pricing and directions, visit the Jaemor Farms website.

Rave Reviews

Thank you to all of your RHG team who helped us during the process of building our new home Ivey Ridge at Mill Creek.  From the beginning, meeting your agent, going to your design center to make our selections, meeting with the superintendent when we had questions, and finishing up with an on time closing with no surprises.  It was a pleasure! - William D.
