Gwinnett County Schools Among the Top for SAT Scores

gwinnett-county-public-shools-district-logoStudents in Gwinnett County Public Schools continue to excel on the SAT! In 2014, test-takers in Gwinnett earned scores higher than the state and national averages on all four portions of the test, including math, reading, and critical writing.

Gwinnett’s average composite SAT score in 2014 was 1497, which is 47 points above the state average of 1450 and 7 points greater than the national average of 1490. In the past five years, the number of students in Gwinnett taking the SAT has increased by 12%, indicating that more students in the county are interested in attending college.
