St. Patrick’s Day Fun in Atlanta

This St. Patrick’s Day, don your green attire and fun Irish spirit, and check out these fun celebrations happening around Atlanta!

Don’t miss the 137th annual Atlanta St. Patrick’s Day Parade! This event is hailed as one of the oldest St. Patrick’s Day parades in the US and the longest-running event in Atlanta history.  Highlights include the renowned Budsweiser Clydesdales, a variety of floats, and extraordinary performances from Bagpipe and Drum Corps, clowns, dancers, drill teams, and more!  The parade takes place in Midtown Atlanta on Saturday, March 16th from noon to 1:30.  For more information, visit the parade website.

Your whole family will love the St. Patrick’s Day Festival at Paddy’s Irish Pub at Chateau Elan Winery and Resort on Sunday, March 17. Purchase all-access festival tickets, which include delicious Irish fare at Irish food stations, an Irish dance competition, lawn games, face painting, a photo booth, and live music. Adults age 21 and over will have special wristbands to sample Irish beer and other festive beverages.  This fun event will begin at noon and conclude at 5 pm. St. Patrick’s Day marks one of Suwanee’s most popular events, the Suwanee Beer Fest! Recognized as one of the largest and most popular craft beer festivals in the Southeast US, this fantastic event takes place on Saturday, March 16. Enjoy samples of over 350 craft beers, including debuts of new and hard-to-find brews. Enjoy live Irish music and backyard games, and sample delicious food from dozens of vendors. Head to the Mall of Georgia on Saturday, March 16 at 6 pm for the Shake Your Shamrock event. Enjoy a crafted cocktail, beer or wine from participating restaurants and live entertainment from The Pak and Carpenter Academy of Irish Dance.
