This weekend, there is no shortage of fun activities going on in metro Atlanta! Check out these family-friendly events going on close to home.
The Wesleyan Artist Market is returning to Peachtree Corners for the 18th year running! Browse the fantastic art exhibits and enjoy live entertainment by students, faculty, and alumni from the Wesleyan School. Kids will love the Children’s Market, geared towards young and aspiring art enthusiasts. This FREE event will be open on Friday (9 am – 6 pm) and Saturday (10 am – 4 pm).
This weekend is the 45th Inman Park Spring Festival and Tour of Homes! The festival offers activities for the whole family, including live music, a dance festival, a street parade, and artists’ market. Kids will enjoy the FREE Kidzone with obstacles courses, crafts, playground, slides and much more! The festival runs from 11 am to 6 pm on Saturday and Sunday. Bring your family and invite your friends to Grayson Day! Enjoy a full day of festivities, which will be kicked off with a 1K Fun Run and 5K competition to benefit the Grayson High School cross country team. There will be tons of FREE activities, including a trackless train, petting zoo, pony sides, and much more! The festival runs from 10 am to 4 pm on Saturday at Grayson Community Park.
Don’t miss the March for Babies, taking place at the Suwanee Town Center on Saturday. Join hundreds of friends, neighbors, and colleagues in a day of fun and fitness to benefit premature babies and babies with birth defects. Registration is at 9 am, and the race begins at 10 am.
The whole family will love the third annual Gwinnett Multicultural Festival at Gwinnett Place Mall. This FREE event will feature cultural performances, delicious fare, and kids’ activities including inflatables, a rock wall, and a dunk tank. Plus, meet and interact with Gwinnett’s finest first responders, including the Police Department, CSI and DUI Task Force. The festival will take place at the mall parking lot near the Tandy Key Lane entrance to the mall.
