Lake Lanier Islands

Lake Lanier Islands are offering a variety of activities for Christmas this year.  Come early in the day and enjoy the Winter Adventure, featuring snow play zones, carnival rides, holiday movies, marshmallow roasting, a live theatrical nativity, visits with Santa, and more! When night falls, visit Magical Lights, a drive-through tour of sparkling lights stretching for seven miles around the lake. Stone Mountain Park

Each evening, Stone Mountain Park will be adorned with thousands of spectacular lights for Stone Mountain Christmas. Enjoy live performances, including A Christmas Carol, The Littlest Christmas Tree, and a Holiday Cabaret. The nightly Christmas parade will feature beautiful floats and an appearance by Santa Claus himself. Atlanta Botanical Garden

Head to Downtown for the annual Garden Lights Holiday Nights at the Atlanta Botanical Garden! Enjoy a pleasant stroll through the beautiful grounds and explore a variety of breathtaking Christmas displays. Favorites including Orchestral Orbs, Radiant Rainforest, and Glittering Galaxy are back this year, along with a new Walk of Flames and larger Tunnel of Light. Kids will love the model train display! Callanwolde Fine Arts Center

Enjoy a classical holiday at Christmas at Callanwolde in Atlanta. The event, which has been running for over 40 years, includes outdoor lights on the beautifully manicured grounds and a spectacular “magic” Christmas tree.
